Students will gain more advanced knowledge of XIQ-SE tools such as templates, workflows, and automations. Overviews of Extreme Analytics, Extreme Policy Manager, and Extreme Control are included. Students will also be introduced to ExtremeControl Workflows built into ExtremeCloud IQ Site Engine and well as integration with Extreme Connect and introduction to APIs is also examined. Students have these concepts reinforced with a hands-on lab experience working with a pre-configured network.

• This course is designed for individuals responsible for the overall network management using XIQ-SE, Extreme Analytics, Extreme Policy, and Extreme Control as well as individuals responsible for management automations.

Extreme Cloud IQ – Site Engine Installation and Configuration certification is a mandatory prerequisite for this course. The XIQ-SE courses are recommended to be taken in the following order: Installation and Configuration, Management, Advanced Configuration, and Troubleshooting. Students should possess an understanding of network fundamentals, and general network management concepts, as well as network security concepts and technologies.
